PRO LIFE

Jason has been a leading Pro-Life advocate in Arkansas long before he decided to throw his hat in the ring for Lieutenant Governor.

When in his first year in the Senate, he tried to pass the nation’s first Heartbeat Act and it was held up in committee in the Democrat-controlled legislature. But, that didn’t stop him!

Two years later in 2013, when Republicans took control of the Senate and House, Jason again reintroduced the Heartbeat Act and led the override of the Democratic governor to pass the nation’s very first Heartbeat Act.  Since then, fourteen other states have passed their own Heartbeat laws, including Texas and its Civil Cause of Action that has survived the Supreme Court and saved over 20,000 children since becoming law in September 2021.

In 2019, Jason was the lead sponsor of the Unborn Child Protection Act which would abolish abortion in Arkansas unless it was to save a mother’s life. This law would go into effect if the Supreme Court overturns its decision in Roe.

In 2021, Jason was the lead sponsor of Act 309 to abolish abortion in Arkansas except to save the mother’s life. According to press reports, Act 309 is among the most restrictive abortion law in the country.

And just this year, Jason introduced the Arkansas Human Heartbeat Act which would have implemented Texas’ Civil Cause of Action in Arkansas – a measure that is currently saving thousands of lives in other states right now! Please listen to my message about how I plan to abolish abortion in the Natural State.

BACK THE BLUE

With all of the animosity against our Law Enforcement Officers in recent years, it is more important than ever to stand with Arkansas’s law enforcement officers and Back the Blue!

As Chairman of the Back the Blue Caucus in the General Assembly, Jason worked hard to pass several Pro-Police laws, including:

  • The Back the Blue Act that withholds state money from cities who choose to defund police;
  • The Public Safety Equipment Grant Program to purchase needed equipment, including bulletproof vests;
  • Setting time limits for the retaining of audio/visual media used in certain criminal investigations;
  • Increasing pay and creating stipends for state and local law enforcement officers; and
  • Appropriating $4.6 million for the construction of a Law Enforcement Training Academy Barracks at Black River Technical College.

For his efforts on our behalf in 2021, Jason was recognized as the Legislator of the Year by the Arkansas Association of Chiefs of Police.

Jason has always supported ALL pro-police measures and has personally sponsored multiple measures that support more extensive training and more protective equipment. Please hear his message about how he plans to continue supporting our brave men and women in blue!

BIG TECH

The so-called “elites” in Silicon Valley have sought to silence conservatives voices all over the country with their fact-checks and shadowbans. We must live in a society where the First Amendment is held up, not torn down and trampled on.

In 2021, Jason was a co-sponsor of the Promote Arkansas Voices Act, a House bill to combat cancel culture and protect our freedom of speech.

Please hear Jason’s message about his plan to fight back against Big Tech’s unruly regime.

ROLES OF LT. GOVERNOR

Many people know that we have a Lieutenant Governor, but not many people understand what the Lieutenant Governor actually does on a day-to-day basis.

I am proud to be a part of the Arkansas Senate and its members deserve a President who is respectful of the chamber and wouldn’t be “bored” with that job as one of my opponent’s once called the Lieutenent Governor’s job.

In this video, I talk about what my roles and responsibilities would be if I am elected to be your next Lieutenant Governor.

FIGHTING FOR ARKANSANS

Jason began his service as a public official more than a decade ago, and his reason for becoming a public servant hasn’t changed. That is, and always will be to serve the great people of Arkansas.

Jason has never backed down from any challenge and has always stood for what he believes in. If elected, Jason will continue to fight for Arkansans and in this video, he will tell you how. Give it a listen!

TAX CUTS

In 2021 and now 2022, we’re seeing inflation at alarming rates thanks to Joe Biden and his administration’s radical liberal “tax” plan.

During his time in the Arkansas Senate, Jason has supported measures that reduce the cost of living for Arkansans. Among the highlights are:

  • Over $1.2 billion in net tax cuts on state income, corporate, and sales taxes.
  • Eliminating the state income tax on retirement benefits earned our state’s retired military veterans and surviving spouses.
  • Being the Senate sponsor of the 2013 bill eliminating the discretionary sales tax on groceries, saving Arkansans $65 million per year since it went into full effect,

My track record proves that. Please watch my video where I discuss my plan to help cut taxes in Arkansas, and reduce the cost of living for you, the people of Arkansas.
